Jazzmin Maddox

Jazzmin Maddox, LPC

You've been thinking about therapy. But if we're being honest, it's those uncomfortable feelings that have really been pushing you toward this moment — and that takes courage to acknowledge.

Maybe you're carrying something that feels too personal, too complicated, or too heavy to say out loud. Maybe you're a young person still figuring out who you are and what you want from life. Maybe you're a Black woman who is tired of holding everything together for everyone else and finally ready to pour into yourself. Maybe your relationship has hit a wall and you're not sure how to find your way back to each other. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.

I'm Jazzmin Maddox, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I've been working in mental health since 2013 and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2019. I'm licensed in Texas, Georgia, and Virginia.

My heart is in the work that most therapists shy away from. I specialize in sex therapy, sexual trauma, and sex offender treatment — spaces that require trust, zero judgment, and a therapist who is genuinely comfortable going there with you. I also have a deep passion for working with adolescents and young adults who are navigating identity, relationships, and what it means to grow into themselves, and for Black women who deserve a space that truly sees and understands them.

I also work with couples on rebuilding intimacy, trust, and communication. If you or your partner are feeling disconnected, dissatisfied with your sex life, or struggling to bridge the gap between you, we can work through it together — openly and without shame.

I use evidence-based approaches including TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, and a Strength-Based Approach, and my credentials include Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (for QMHPs, LPCs, and CSOTP-Ts) and Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider. No matter what you bring into this space, you will be met with compassion, not judgment.

You deserve a therapist who won't flinch. Let's talk.
